MLA Reasi-57 Shri Kuldeep Raj Dubey Meets Hon’ble CMD, NHPC on Issues Concerning Reasi District

Shri Kuldeep Raj Dubey, Hon’ble Member of Legislative Assembly, Reasi-57 Constituency, held a meeting with the Hon’ble Chairman-cum-Managing Director, NHPC, Shri Bhupender Gupta Ji, to discuss several important issues related to NHPC projects in Reasi district.
During the interaction, the MLA raised the long-pending issue of land compensation of families affected by the reservoir, stressing the need for early and fair disbursement to ensure justice to the affected people. He also highlighted matters concerning the Shiv Guffa Shrine, emphasizing its religious importance and the necessity of safeguarding the shrine and its access for devotees.
Concerns related to the tunnel project and other NHPC works were also discussed, particularly with regard to public safety, environmental balance, and difficulties faced by local residents. Shri Dubey urged NHPC to maintain close coordination with the local administration and the public to resolve grievances in a timely manner.
The Hon’ble CMD, NHPC, Shri Bhupender Gupta Ji, assured that all issues raised would be examined sympathetically and appropriate steps would be taken in the interest of the people.
