Reasi, January 20: District Development Commissioner Reasi, Nidhi Malik, today chaired a meeting to review the progress of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in the district.During the meeting, the DDC reviewed the physical and financial progress of various JJM schemes under implementation and took stock of scheme-wise achievements. She issued directions to the concerned officers to ensure the timely completion of all ongoing works.The District Development Commissioner also reviewed the progress under the Water and Sanitation Mission, laying emphasis on improved service delivery and ensuring a sustainable and reliable water supply to households. She stressed the need to expedite the completion of ongoing JJM projects and directed that all completed works be promptly uploaded and regularly updated on the IMIS JJM portal.Emphasizing the importance of close inter-departmental coordination, the DDC stressed strict adherence to prescribed timelines to achieve the objectives of the mission in an effective manner.The meeting was attended by CPO Narinder Kumar, CEO Deepak Gupta, XEN Jal Shakti Er. Naresh Kumar, XEN JPDCL, and other concerned officers.
