A delegation from Reasi, led by Jammu and Kashmir National Conference District President Raj Kumar Sharma and Gulabgarh MLA Khursheed Ahmed, met Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and raised various important public interest and developmental issues concerning the district.The delegation also included civil society representatives Dr. Sukhdev Sharma, Yash Verma and Bishan Magotra.The delegation primarily sought the operationalisation of the Mother-Child Hospital in Reasi, shifting of the PWD Dak Bungalows in Reasi, immediate release of funds for the District Court Complex Reasi, making the Bhamag Tehsil Office functional at Bhamag, upgrading Pouni PHC to a Sub-District Hospital, and granting Pouni the status of a Sub-Division along with creation of an SDM post.Chief Minister Omar Abdullah heard the demands of the delegation and assured them that appropriate and necessary action would be taken on the issues raised.
