BJP Holds Meeting on Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in Reasi

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organised an important meeting at the party’s district headquarters in Reasi to discuss the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The meeting was chaired by BJP spokesperson Zorawar Singh Jamwal.
During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on the importance and procedure of SIR. Addressing the gathering, Zorawar Singh Jamwal said that the objective of SIR is to ensure a transparent, fair and accurate voter list so that only eligible Indian citizens are able to exercise their right to vote. He alleged that the Congress party is deliberately spreading confusion among the people regarding SIR for political gains.
Jamwal emphasised that misleading the public on such a sensitive democratic process is irresponsible and unfortunate. He called upon BJP workers to counter this misinformation by reaching out to the masses and providing correct and factual information about the SIR process.
Party leaders instructed workers to intensify outreach at the district, block, mandal and booth levels to educate people about the significance of SIR. They stressed that the purity of electoral rolls is essential for strengthening democracy and preventing any irregularities.
It was also decided in the meeting that the BJP will launch an extensive public awareness campaign in the coming days to ensure that citizens are fully informed about their voting rights and the SIR process.
